Thanks to the European Green Fest project, the Municipality of Bergamo has defined the Minimum Environmental Criteria, parameters of environmental sustainability for cultural events. By adhering to these criteria, the first edition of the Ermanno Olmi Award will be officially labelled as a Green Friendly Event: a commitment to both environment and culture for greater sustainability.
Digital ticketing, reduced and low-impact printing, places accessible with public transport and zero-emission mobility solutions, recycling, Co2 reduction, gender equality, catering services with locally grown products, zero plastic: these are just some of the criteria we are committed to adhere to.
Small good practices as building bricks for change: through the Green Public Procurement model, we make a civil commitment to create a sustainable event which also adheres to Ermanno Olmi’s own vision as a passionate defender of the environment.
